Transport for Wales Meet The Buyer events announced

Transport for Wales (TfW), the not-for-profit company owned by the Welsh Government and operator of last resort for the Wales and Borders rail franchise, has announced that the next iteration of its Facilities Management (FM) contract will commence in early 2023.

TfW operate a diverse estate of 248 stations and ancillary properties across Wales and Border region, with the company having emphasised the importance of its stations to the local communities they serve and in meeting customer aspirations.

To enable TfW to bring the opportunity to market in the optimum format, it is proposing to hold a series of Meet the Buyer events to engage with potential suppliers and feed into the development of its final FM market strategy.

The events will be held on the following dates later this month in both South and North Wales respectively, with suppliers invited to book their attendance via the link from Business Wales below.

• 21 April 2022, 11:00 - 13:00 at a Cardiff City Centre venue TBC, Cardiff, CF11 8AZ; and,

• 25 April 2022, 12:00 - 14:00 at a venue TBC, Conwy, LL30 1AB.
